A partitionary system is a system with members who are fully separate from each other as well as independent of each other, each possessing a self-identity, thoughts, and emotions distinct from others within the system. if any member of a partition system where to be missing the system can still function without trouble. Here there is rarely a central or collective identity aside from "masking" or a collectively agreed upon "singletsona".
The most common word to define this same experience is "multiple", and they can be used interchangeably! However, the word multiple can be a synonym of "plural", and we don't want to imply median systems are less plural than partitionary ones to people who might be new to plurality or doesn't know plural terminology very well.
